Please be aware that we will be closed on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24th and 25th this year (2018). We will be open December 26th.
Orders received by noon AST Th Dec. 19th, will ship for Christmas delivery, via Standard shipping. This is not guaranteed. We will get you order out of our warehouse as quickly as possible. Once in the hands of the USPS we no longer have control. That said, we have had a very good experience in our many years of shipping with USPS.
As mentioned above, our standard shipping method is United States Postal Service Priority Mail. This is a 2-3 day service within the US, but may take a day longer coming from Puerto Rico. When you check the USPS site, please add an extra day to account for shipping from Puerto Rico.
These terms are only valid for items we ship from Puerto Rico and not for drop ship items from suppliers. Unfortunately, a bad address, no email or telephone number, or a denied credit card will put all of this in jeopardy. Please be super careful when you place your order, so that we can give you the best possible service.
It also does not account for a delivery failure because you are not home. We will send you a tracking number by email. It is important for you to track your delivery and make sure that the postal carrier can deliver. Talk to your post office if you anticipate a problem.
Our compensation for a failure to deliver on time will be limited to the shipping fee. If you return the order because it was not delivered on time, you will receive a refund for the merchandise total, assuming the merchndise is in the same condition we sent it.
After noon on Wednesday, December 19th, we will continue to ship Priority Mail, if you choose it, but we cannot guarantee that you will receive a package by Christmas. Probably if you are in Florida or a major East coast city, you will, but there is no guarantee from Isla.
You can select a RUSH shipping option. Rush shipping from PR is quite expensive, but does guarantee 1-2 day service. Priority Express, as it is called, will be delivered on Sunday, December 23th and Monday, December 24th (as well as other days). You must make sure there is some one home to receive it!!! The Post Office will not honor the guarantee if their carrier makes a delivery attempt and it fails. (Likewise, we cannot honor under those circumstances.) Again, a good address and a watchful eye on the tracking number will keep you abreast of your package.
I would also suggest that if you expect a delivery to be made Saturday, Sunday or Monday, you use a residential address for delivery. That is - unless you plan to be at work those days and the workplace is open for business...
