New to Isla in the summer of 2018 are hand-painted and etched vases made from recylced wine bottles. Each one will be different, and each is one-of-a-kind. The first in this line is this tall brown glass vase. Etched around the middle with Taino Coquis, the artist has surrounded them with a ombre design (going from light to dark) in oranges and yellow.
The second in the series isa clear glass vase decorated in blue and yellow. FLORES is etched around the base with acid.
The third, a clear glass vase, features etched coquis around the top, hidden in the green leaves that rise from flowered vines.
All are signed by the artist. Measure about 8" tall.
This item requires extra care in cleaning. Rinse gently with water and allow to air dry. Do not put it in the dishwasher or use any abrasive cleaners or cloths. The paint is baked on, but special handling will ensure that it lasts a long time.
