This story about Melchior explains the origins of his feast day, celebrated two days after Three Kings Day (Epiphany). The story goes that Melchior had way too much to eat and drink with all the treats left out for him and his companions on their annual tour around the island delivering gifts. He tried to sleep it off...only his nap lasted two days. No one could find him and the other kings needed him because he was taking care of the star that would lead them onward. Find out what happens and share this lovely tradition of the Puerto Rican Christmas celebration!
